The Nation’s theme park: DC

Washington DC felt like the Nation’s theme park.  Once you are there you are surrounded by either picture taking tourists or the locals whose uniform is a suit and tie.  All the museums and monuments are free and full of lines.  While concession stands are spread sporadically throughout.  Comparing this trip to my jr. high school trip 13 years ago, I was blown away.  We fell in love with the Natural History Museum and The Portrait Gallery.  Learned DC is one of the best places to get Ethiopian food in the country.  And found the Albert Einstein Monument a little off the beaten path.  This is what DC felt like through our eyes.
